Faraday Future FF Nova Launch Set for Oct. 14
Faraday Future says its Oct. 14 event will introduce FF Nova, a smaller Nova Mini, an education package and a developer platform.
Faraday Future says the Faraday Future FF Nova launch will take place at an invitation-only event on October 14. The company also says the program includes FF Nova Mini, an education package and a developer reinforcement-learning platform.[1]
That is the announcement, not a product data sheet. Faraday Future has not disclosed Nova's price, payload, dimensions, battery life, safety certification, production schedule or customer deployments in the launch notice.[1]
What is Faraday Future launching on October 14?
Faraday Future says the event will introduce four items: FF Nova, FF Nova Mini, the EAI Education Ecosystem Brain and Curriculum Skills 2.0, plus the FF Nova Developer Reinforcement Learning Platform.[1] The company calls Nova its first embodied-AI humanoid aimed at developers and educational institutions. It says the developer platform will open with exclusive early access.
"The term sheet" for the robotics-business sale is "non-binding."[3]
Its robotics site describes a broader plan that combines devices, an AI brain and developer platform, and a data operation.[2] Those labels describe the company's strategy. They do not establish what the October 14 hardware can do in a workplace.
What is known about FF Nova's hardware?
The direct answer is that the announcement does not provide the usual buying or deployment details. There is no published list price, capacity figure, runtime, reach, payload, supported end effectors, autonomy boundary, service plan or delivery date in the October 11 notice.[1]
That makes Nova a future product, not a robot buyers can assess. Compare that gap with the regulatory limits documented in our Trexo Theo FDA clearance coverage, where the permitted user group and supervision conditions are explicit. A launch presentation may add details, but it cannot substitute for a product document, customer deployment evidence or a safety filing.
Why does the deal structure matter?
Faraday Future's September 28 Form 8-K says the company entered a non-binding term sheet on September 25 to sell its robotics business to its majority-owned subsidiary, AIxCrypto Holdings.[3] The filing says the parties expected a two-step transaction. It does not say the transaction had closed.[3]
FF is announcing Nova while the proposed business transaction in the filing remains unresolved. That is different from independent confirmation of commercial readiness.
